New Year Marks A New Legislative Session!!!

January 13, 2025 marks the beginning of the new legislative session as our state legislators begin to convene back into the state capitol to handle their legislative duties!
WE NEED TO BE AS VOCAL AND LOUD AS WE CAN BE TO MAKE SOME SERIOUS NOISE UNTIL WE START GETTING SOME RESPONSES!!!
The next month marks a critical time for us to take action and we need all hands on deck sending masses of emails and phone calls at these legislators until they have no choice but to hear us!
Representative Charley Thomson was the first to respond on the matter and being a member of the Republican party WE NEED HIM ON OUR SIDE!!!
Make sure he hears you and sees our cause has real merit but don't solely focus on him as ALL LEGISLATORS MATTER!
We especially want to focus on the Republican majority leader's as they are ultimately going to be the driving force for whether we can garner true change to come about and will have the power to make a real decision!

Be courteous, as these are still highly respected individuals despite our stance on the matter and need to be treated as such if we plan to get any real attention!
Tell them your story briefly and touch on the issues you have with this bill and how it will impact our industry, livelihoods and families if not put in check soon.
Let them know what city you are located in as they will be more responsive to constituents of Iowa and especially those of us located within their specific state districts.
WE NEED TO TAKE ACTION AND FAST WITH AS MUCH FORCE AS WE CAN IN NUMBERS!!!
