Talking With Julia Cutler & Jacob Heard At Iowa Defenders, PLLC Today.

We met with Iowa Defenders, PLLC attorneys Julia A. Cutler and Jacob P. Heard this afternoon in regards to the upcoming legislative impacts that will surely cripple our industry due to the passing of Senate File 345 during the 2024 legislative session.

They are very concerned with the secrecy of its fruition and are working diligently to come up with a possible gameplay that will work in our favor to help fight on our behalf. The fight is still a bit grim as Iowa is notorious for working in favor of harsh legislative changes they feel will keep Iowa clean and safe and have a few key players that will be very difficult to navigate around if the time comes to battling in the courtroom.

Our best plan of action is to work together to pool our resources and bring a united front to the table that will echo in the legislators meetings. Once we have more information on the finances needed to perform the injunction proceedings and begin the process we will be looking to our patrons to help aid us in the first round of the fight.
