This is just the start for us and with the 2025 legislative session right around the corner it is time to really start blasting our senators with concerns and getting their ears turned our way! We need all activists to use the senators list on our resources page to direct messages to your respective legislators and voice concerns about the topics below.

• 40% tax is unjust taxation without representation due to there being no voices heard during the legislations passing.

• Show them the prior bills defeat known as Senate File 363 and how devastating its language was then compared to how much more impactful it is now.

• Touch on the misconstrued data and how the bill was held in secrecy until the end of the session to force its passing.

• Talk about your stake in the industry or why you support it and be sure to represent yourselves as artisans and the craft in a positive light.

• Show them that there are far more than 100 licenses issued in the state and that the bill favors imported goods made in subpar conditions threatening health and safety over American manufacturers producing quality goods within our own borders.

• Express your concerns for their lack of attentiveness to the subject and how detrimental it could be to family owned and operated businesses all across the state!

Be kind and informal with your messages and show us in a respectable light to help boost our cause and bring a new visual to our industry.
